With more than 20 years experience in public accounting, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm he founded in 2003. After graduating from Tennessee Technological University in 1988, Alan accepted a position with a local CPA firm located in Nashville, TN. There he gained experience in the areas of corporate and individual taxation as well as accounting and auditing  by working closely with the founding partners. In 1998 he was promoted to partner and began to service and build his own client base. While happy in the local firm setting, Alan always knew that someday he wanted to form and manage his own firm. He did so in September of 2003 as J. Alan Hayes, Certified Public Accountant was established as a full service CPA firm in Mt. Juliet, TN.
